IT infrastructure monitoring and service desk

IT Resources is a monitoring, service-desk and operations platform for IT service providers and in-house IT teams. One server watches firewalls, routers, switches, servers, workstations, internet lines, VPNs, VOIP systems and office devices, pages the on-call engineer when something breaks, and gives every client a scoped view of their own estate.

It is available as a self-hosted licence for your own server, or as IT Resources Cloud, the same platform run for you as your own instance.

Frequently asked questions

Is it self-hosted or cloud-based?

Both. IT Resources is a one-time licence per server that you install on your own Linux server. IT Resources Cloud is the same platform run for you as your own instance, prepaid monthly or yearly.

Does it need an agent on every device?

No. Most equipment is checked without an agent, over ICMP, SNMP, SSH, HTTP, TLS, Redfish or Asterisk AMI. A push agent that dials out covers servers and workstations behind NAT.

Can each client see only their own equipment?

Yes. Resources are organised by client and site, tenant isolation is enforced in the data layer, and each client sees only their own resources, tickets and balance.

What does the server need?

A Linux server with Docker (recommended), or Node.js 20.11 or newer. No external database is needed: SQLite is embedded.

What can a hosted instance monitor?

Internet-facing equipment directly, hosts behind NAT through the push agent, and private networks through a VPN link between that network and the instance.
